Ilya Mironov is a researcher at Google Brain known for foundational contributions to differential privacy. He introduced Renyi differential privacy in MIRONOV2017, providing the RDP framework that enables tighter privacy accounting for the Gaussian mechanism and composition of differentially private mechanisms. He also contributed to the development of DP-SGD and the moments accountant in the influential “Deep Learning with Differential Privacy” paper (Abadi et al., 2016).
